The City of Belleville Launches The Explore Belleville Project
Wednesday, August 1st, 2025, The City of Belleville debuted it’s Explore Belleville Project with the launch of ExploreBelleville.net, the digital home of Belleville Tourism. The main goal of the Explore Belleville Project is to increase tourism and visitor retention by scaling interactive tools for visitors, prospective & current residents, and developers all while increasing community within our city. The Heart of Belleville isn’t a place, it is the people of our Beautiful City and the joy of bringing them together.
PROGRESS: PHASE 1 COMPLETE
Phase 1 of the project is completed and includes the development of ExploreBelleville.net and the Community Calendar. To submit a community event within Belleville city limits, complete the submission form here. ExploreBelleville.net is the new home of Belleville Tourism and is developed and managed in-house by Tourism staff. By creating a separate home for Explore Belleville, we are not limited by design and feature options within the City of Belleville website when implementing additional interactive tools. Belleville.net is home to information and resources / ExploreBelleville.net is home to how to work, play and live throughout the city. From parade information to what to do this weekend, find it at ExploreBelleville.net.
