Ever wondered who welcomes Santa to town each year? Meet The Optimist Club of Belleville. For more than 100 years, the Optimist Club has served children in our community through various programs, activities and events- the most recognizable being the annual Santa Parade and Santa House each December welcoming the jolly fellow to Downtown Belleville each year.

Their mission: The Optimist Club of Belleville is committed to supporting programs that enhance the health and wellness of children in our community. Each year the Optimist Club serves hundreds of area youth through their activities and donations. The club donations and projects total over $50,0000 annually. Thousands of Optimist volunteer hours have gone into making their club’s efforts successful.
