OH MY WORD
This Front Room curated group exhibition is themed around language and art. These 19 artists are showing works in fiber, painting, digital printing, screen printing, book arts, and more. Come see diverse perspectives and approaches on the role of words in art. Feature works by Madi Althoff, Jessica Buben, Gray Finch, Ann Fischer, William Harroff, Carrie Keasler, Jordan McGirk, Kenya Mitchell, Nick Nihira, Suzanne Oberholtzer, Brandon Perkins,d Megan Rieke, Monica Sheets, Jake Strauss, Bella Tomas, Amir Toosi, Mackenzie White, Chris Wubbena, and Czeslawa Wojtkowski.

Pillows and Wall Hangings by Joan Rifkin
In the Martin Room we’re pleased to be showing the pop culture-inspired drawings on cloth by Joan Rifkin. She’s a self-taught artist who got inspired in 2023 after going shopping and noticing none of the pillows had cartoons on them. Since then she’s been prolifically making over a hundred of these artworks. The characters she selects run the gamut from classic Saturday morning cartoons, to modern Disney characters, to obscure TV ads. Come by and collect one, two, three, or more of these one-of-a-kind works of art.
