Organ Concert: Featuring Juan Cardona
Join us for an exciting concert by Juan Cardona at the Lincoln Theatre, brought to you by the St Louis Theatre Organ Society.
Juan Cardona, Jr. is a Connecticut-based organist who began studying piano and organ at age seven and earned a BFA in classical organ from the University of Connecticut, studying with Angela Salcedo and later refining his theatre organ skills with Jelani Eddington. He has served as House Organist for the Thomaston Opera House for over 30 years and the Bardavon Opera House for more than 25 years, and regularly performs concerts and silent films nationwide. His notable appearances include opening for the Boston Pops, the Russian National Ballet, and performing with artists such as Neil Sedaka, Tito Puente, and members of Phantom of the Opera. A specialist in silent film accompaniment, Juan has performed over 30 films and was featured at the American Theatre Organ Society’s 2022 National Convention. Outside of music, he is a Wireless Network Engineer, enjoys radio-controlled model airplanes, and pursues culinary interests.
