Belleville Main Street Marathon and Half Marathon

Both the full and half marathons will begin at 7 AM on Saturday, September 27, 2025, in historic downtown Belleville, IL. Our full marathon course is a USTAF-certified Boston Marathon-qualifying course.

Belleville is located about 20 minutes from downtown St. Louis, MO, and our courses are excellent for seasoned and novice runners alike.

The Belleville Main Street Marathon and Half Marathon is a grass-roots non-profit event organized by volunteers from the Belleville Running Club and Toolen’s Running Start to shine a positive light on our community and encourage the sport of running. Most of our proceeds are donated to the Belleville Parks and Recreation Department to enhance local recreational opportunities.

Our race is known for its great course support because we are fortunate to be in a community of residents who support and give back to the community. This also includes local small and larger businesses who sponsor our race monetarily to offset the expenses of conducting 13.1 and 26.2 miles of race and help us put on a fabulous post-race party. We are forever grateful to our participants, sponsors, and our 200+ volunteers!
